Instructions for authors

Scope

The site's aim is to provide a discussion forum to develop ideas that will make a tangible difference to the lives of the poor and to attract views and approaches, tested through application, to be disseminated as widely as possible.

It, therefore, follows that they must have practical relevance. Consequently, "lessons from the field" will have particular significance as will the impact of governmental and other institutional policies and actions.

Sustainability has to be the key to any future hence it should underpin any ideas, solutions and programs.

Format

Initially, authors should send in an outline not exceeding 150 words of their proposed article together with a sentence about their particular expertise.

Articles should not exceed 5,000 words in length, be in Word format and submitted by email to [email protected]. References should be in the Harvard style in the text together with a list at the end. All articles received will be acknowledged and authors will be informed of the date of publication if it has been decided to publish it.

No reasons will be given for non-publication and the Editor cannot engage in any correspondence regarding it.
